If you are a person who enjoys caring for others you can fulfill your interests by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. Certified Nursing Assistants allow patients to live more comfortably during their stay at a medical facility.

This program is geared towards students wishing to be a Certified Nursing Assistant or those students planning to pursue other careers in the medical field. This is a 77 hour course that includes clinical experience.

Clincial times are already scheduled. If you take the class you must be able to attend clinicals on the designated dates.

All sessions will be held at the Fremont County BOCES, 320 West Main (Old Riverton High School/6th Grade Bldg.) in Riverton, WY. FREE to student enrolled in Fremont or Hot Springs County School Districts. Cost for Non-High School Students $450.00, which includes: (cost of class and workbook, TB test, drug test, National Data Registry, notary).

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be required to apply to the State Board of Nursing for their certification test. State Board of Nursing will require applicants pay a $218 application fee. Students will purchase scrubs at approximately $30. Criminal background check will be conducted through Wyoming DCI and FBI.

Fremont County BOCES will be offering two driver's education classes for Lander Valley High School students. The first class runs from June 4 - 8, 2012 and the second runs from June 25 - 29, 2012. All classroom sessions will be held at Lander Valley High School, 350 Baldwin Creek Road, Lander, WY 82520.

Each class will be limited to 20 participants and will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. No registration or payment will be accepted on the first day of class. Please contact BOCES at (307) 856-2028 with any questions.

Cost:
$85.00 per person.
